The Bar Choral Society is based in the Temple with singers drawn from across the legal system. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the amateur choir is joined by one of the UK's most celebrated opera singers, Jennifer Johnston - herself a former barrister! Their joyful programme includes Parry's rousing anthem Blest Pair of Sirens, and the world premiere of a new work by leading composer Cecilia McDowall, commissioned especially for the occasion.
